MEMBERSHIP |

| 2.1
MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION |
| 2.1.1 |
Candidates
for admission as Members of RSYC shall be proposed and seconded
by two voting Members who must themselves have been voting Members
for at least six months prior to date of proposal and who must sign
the prescribed proposal form. |
| 2.1.2 |
The
proposal form shall be forwarded to the Membership office together
with the requisite Membership fee. Upon approval by the Membership
Sub-committee, the Sub-committee shall submit the proposal to the
RSYC Committee for formal approval. |
| 2.1.3 |
A
Membership shall become effective immediately upon approval of the
application by the RSYC Committee. |
| 2.1.4 |
No
reasons need be given by the RSYC Committee for not accepting any
application, conversion, transfer, re-instatement, nomination or
re-nomination of Membership. Any application, conversion, transfer,
reinstatement, nomination or re-nomination shall be subjected to
such terms and conditions as may be determined by the RSYC Committee
from time to time. |

| 2.2
ABSENT MEMBERSHIP |
| 2.2.1
TEMPORARY
ABSENT MEMBER |

| 2.2.1.1 |
Members
who expect to be absent from Singapore for a continuous period
of more than ninety days may on prior application being rendered
to the RSYC have their Membership subscription suspended for
a specified period subject to such terms and conditions and
payment of such fees as may be determined by the RSYC Committee
from time to time. |
| 2.2.1.2 |
A
Member who intends to be placed on the Temporary Absent Membership
List is required to pay one month's subscription and a processing
fee of $50 (exclusive of GST). |
| 2.2.1.3 |
Members
shall give written notice to the Secretary immediately on
their return to Singapore for their Membership to be reactivated
subject to such terms and conditions and payment of such fees
as may be determined by the RSYC Committee from time to time. |

| 2.2.2
PERMANENTLY ABSENT MEMBER |

| 2.2.2.1 |
Members
who expect to be absent from Singapore for a continuous period
of more than 1 year may on prior application being rendered
to RSYC have their Membership subscription suspended for a
specified period subject to such terms and conditions and
payment of such fees as may be determined by the RSYC Committee
from time to time. |
| 2.2.2.2 |
A
Member who intends to be placed on the Permanently Absent
Membership List is required to pay one month's subscription
and a processing fee of $100 (exclusive of GST). Permanently
Absent Membership must be renewed annually at a fee of $100
(exclusive of GST). |
| 2.2.2.3 |
Members
shall give written notice to the Secretary immediately on
their return to Singapore for their Membership to be reactivated
subject to such terms and conditions and payment of such fees
as may be determined by the RSYC Committee from time to time. |

| 2.3
MEMBERSHIP TRANSFER FEE |
| 2.3.1 |
The
current transfer fee payable to the RSYC in respect of any transfer
of Ordinary Membership (Transferable) shall be 20% of the last prevailing
sale price fixed by the RSYC for new Ordinary Membership (Transferable)
or such other amount as may be determined by the RSYC Committee
from time to time. |
| 2.3.2 |
No
transfer fee shall be payable in the case of one time transfer by
an Ordinary Member (Transferable) to any Member of his/her immediate
family. "Immediate Family" means the lawful spouse or
any lawful children of the Ordinary Member (Transferable) concerned.
This benefit only applies to first Owners of the Ordinary Transferable
Membership and is not applicable when the Ordinary Transferable
Membership is acquired through transfer. |

VISITING
MEMBER |

The
privileges of a Visiting Member shall be the same as those
of a Social Member except that, at the discretion of the management,
credit may not be granted. |

A
Visiting Member may use the Marina facilities at the applicable
Visiting Member rates. Usage of the Marina is subject to the
applicable bylaws and conditions for use of the Marina. |

| 2.4.3
RECIPROCAL MEMBER |

| 2.4.3.1 |
The
privileges of a Reciprocal Member shall be the same as those
of a Social Member except that, at the discretion of the management,
credit may not be granted. |
| 2.4.3.2 |
A
Reciprocal Member may use the Marina facilities at the applicable
Reciprocal Member's rates. Usage of the Marina is subject
to the applicable bylaws and conditions for the use of the
Marina. |

| 2.4.4
CORPORATE MEMBER |

| 2.4.4.1 |
The
privileges of a Corporate Member shall be the same as those
of Ordinary Members. |
| 2.4.4.2 |
Nominees
are subject to the same application procedure as individual
Members. |

| 2.4.5
SOCIAL
MEMBER |

| 2.4.5.1 |
A
Social Member may use the non-sea related facilities of the
RSYC.. |
| 2.4.5.2 |
A
Social Member may not own or register a boat at the RSYC. |

| 2.5
MEMBERSHIP CARDS |
| 2.5.1
|
Membership
cards will be issued to each Member and supplementary cards issued
to his spouse and children, where applicable. |
| 2.5.2
|
Members
and their families should carry their Membership cards with them
at all times while on RSYC Premises and present their cards at the
time of placing orders at F&B outlets and when signing any chits. |
| 2.5.3 |
Membership
cards are not transferable and may only be used by the person whose
name appears on the card. |
| 2.5.4 |
Members
must notify the RSYC promptly of the loss of any Membership card
and apply for the issue of a replacement card, for which a charge
of $25.00 shall be levied. Until the Management is notified of the
loss, the Member will remain liable to pay all charges incurred
in respect of the Membership card. |
| 2.5.5 |
Upon
a person ceasing to be a Member, he shall forthwith return all Membership
cards to the RSYC, failing which he shall continue to be liable
to pay all dues. |
