4 ADMINISTRATION
   
4.1 GUESTS
4.1.1 The term 'guest' shall apply to any person other than a Member as defined in the Constitution or an Officer, workman or employee of the RSYC or member's employee on RSYC Premises.
4.1.2 No guest shall be allowed on the RSYC Premises unless accompanied by a Member.
4.1.3 In the event that a Member cannot accompany the guest as specified in clause 4.1.2, subject to the RSYC Committee's approval and on such terms and conditions as the RSYC Committee deems fit, a guest may have access to RSYC by obtaining a properly completed TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP CARD from the Membership Department. Written authorisation from the Member must be given to the Membership Department before the card is issued
4.1.4 A Member may introduce guests to the RSYC provided they do not interfere in any way with the enjoyment of the RSYC by Members and other guests. Members shall be responsible at all times for the conduct and dress code of both their employees and guests whom they invite, for their adherence to the Constitution and bylaws, for payments due from their guests to the RSYC, for reparation of any damages caused by their guests and employees and for entering the particulars of such guests in the register(s) provided for this purpose.
4.1.5 A Member may not introduce as a guest of the RSYC any person whom the RSYC Committee has determined is ineligible for introduction as a guest of the RSYC.
4.1.6 The names of guests shall be recorded in the Guest Book. No person who has resided or is resident in Singapore for more than three months may be introduced by a member as a guest more than once in any month.
4.1.7 The RSYC Committee shall have power to impose on Members such terms and conditions as the RSYC Committee deems fit in relation to any person admitted as a guest or member's employee.
   
4.2 CLUB EMPLOYEES
4.2.1 No Member or any Member of his family or guest of a Member shall reprimand any RSYC employee.
4.2.2 Employees of the RSYC shall not be requested to carry out errands whether outside or within the RSYC Premises.
4.2.3 No Member shall induce or attempt to induce any RSYC employee to leave the Club's service.
4.2.4 No Member of the RSYC shall solicit any present, money or gratuity to any employee of the RSYC.
4.2.5 An employee shall not participate in any of the RSYC Committee and Sub-Committee meetings, without prior approval of the Management and RSYC Committee.
4.2.6 An employee shall not exercise his/her right in the capacity of a RSYC Member to stand for election to the RSYC Committee or to speak, whether favourably or unfavourably, at any RSYC General Meeting about RSYC, RSYC Committee, Sub-Committees and Management.
4.2.7 Any information, secrets, transactions, information or knowledge obtained during the course of employment are strictly confidential in nature, and shall not be disclosed, divulged, discussed or revealed as part of Member's status at any time.
4.2.8 Any violation or breach of these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to disciplinary action, including dismissal from service.
4.2.9 All terms and conditions as specified in the appointment letter and the Employee Handbook shall be strictly complied with.
   
4.3 COMPLAINTS
4.3.1 All complaints in respect of any matter concerning the RSYC or the behaviour or conduct of any employee of the RSYC or management or of a Member, Guest or Visitor shall be made to the General Manager in writing.
   
4.4 LETTERS AND PARCELS
4.4.1 Letters and parcels addressed to or sent by Members of the RSYC are received or sent at such Member's own risk. Unclaimed letters and parcels will be retained for a period of two months, after which they shall be returned to the Post Office.
   
4.5 USAGE OF THE RSYC PREMISES
4.5.1 Whilst on the Premises a person shall not:
 
4.5.1.1 Willfully obstruct, disturb, interrupt or annoy any other person in his or her proper use and enjoyment of the Premises.
4.5.1.2 Use vulgar language or behave in an unruly manner.
   
4.5.2 No Member shall remove from the RSYC Premises any article or property of the RSYC unless duly authorised.
4.5.3 No paper or notice, written, printed, electronic or otherwise shall be laid on the tables or put up on the RSYC Premises without permission of the General Manager.
4.5.4 No commercial activity shall be conducted on the Premises and no boat registered for commercial purposes shall use the RSYC facilities without permission of the General Manager.
4.5.5 All persons using the RSYC Premises, or any property of the RSYC, or making use of the convenience or facilities provided by the RSYC shall be deemed to do so at their own risk.
4.5.6 A person shall not disobey or fail to comply with:
 
4.5.6.1 Any direction, instruction, request or requirement lawfully given or made by an authorised person in discharge of his or her duty;
4.5.6.2 Any notice or sign posted, erected or displayed pursuant to these rules.
   
4.5.7 Upon request a Member shall satisfy any RSYC Official that he or she is an RSYC Member.
4.5.8 A Member shall be responsible for any loss, damage or expense caused to property of the RSYC or to that of any other Member resulting from non-compliance with any of these rules.
4.5.9 A Member who fails to comply with any of these rules may be required to explain his actions before the RSYC Committee and be subject to such disciplinary measures as may be determined by the Disciplinary Committee.
4.5.10 Gambling is not permitted within the RSYC Premises unless organised with the specific approval of the RSYC Committee and the relevant government authorities. Lotteries may be organized with the specified approval of the RSYC Committee and the relevant government authorities.
4.5.11 Pets are strictly not allowed in the Club premises unless they are brought directly to the Members' boat(s).
4.5.12 Radios, televisions, computer entertainment equipment, Hi-Fi sets and musical instruments brought to the Clubhouse are not to be used in a manner causing nuisance or annoyance to other Members.
