POSITION: Sales Executive

 

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION


The Sales Executive will be required to budget revenues and maximise profitability by developing tactical sales plans and special programs for our members to drive incremental occupancy, average rates, and business volume. In addition, the incumbent will handle banquet and / or Marina Lodge guestrooms’ sales-related enquiries, not limited to group reservations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle all  banquet and Marina Lodge guestrooms’ sales enquiries, liaising with organizers and planners for site arrangements and requirements
  • Manage a list of clients, and use his/her sales skills to develop the sales of this list. Conducts required sales visits for achievement of required sales targets
  • Formulate banquet functions' and accommodation rooms' marketing / promotional activities, and working with the operations team to ensure the smooth execution of all such activities
  • Achieve maximum profitability and overall success by controlling costs and quality of service
  • To be able to use market knowledge to identify sales opportunities and propose specific solutions

 

TALENT PROFILE

  • Diploma in Tourism / Travel / Hospitality with a minimum of 2 Year(s) of hotel sales working experience
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, and proven sales record will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge on Front Office, Guest Services, and / or Reservations operations
  • Results-driven and able to work independently
