POSITION: Chef

 

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION


The Chef will be responsible for preparation of Asian / Western culinary dishes in their respective sections, and should be very organised and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment. The incumbent should be able to manage their section, as well as reliably carry out instructions handed down by the Senior Chefs and / or Executive Sous Chef.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Senior Chefs in daily operations within the outlets 
  • Assign specific duties to the Club’s Cooks and Trainees in their work
  • Supervise and monitor consistency of food standards in the Club’s Restaurant and Banquet operations
  • Monitor hygiene and cleanliness of area of responsibility
  • Check supply of all raw ingredients to maintain high quality and ensure the ingredients are stored and prepared to minimize unnecessary wastage / spoilage

 

TALENT PROFILE

  • Candidate must possess at least Primary / Secondary School / "O" Level 
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Food / Beverage / Restaurant Service or equivalent
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays
