POSITION: Front Office Officer

 

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION


The Front Office Officer is the first point of contact for our members and guests. Regardless of via phone or in person, he / she has to ensure that everyone feel welcomed and comfortable, and that their needs are attended to in a professional manner. The incumbent will also provide the full Republic of Singapore Yacht Club standards of customer care, while displaying excellent interpersonal skills through the Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence (P.R.I.D.E).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handles in-coming and out-going calls for the Club, and to convey any messages to the relevant department. To note that all members’ and staff’s telephone numbers and addresses are confidential
  • Possesses a working knowledge of the reservation section and assist in taking future reservations for the sales department to follow up with confirmation
  • Coordinates room status updates with housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, day use and special requests. To  also inform the Housekeeping Department on any defect reported by our members and guests to ensure follow-up service
  • Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit, cheque and cash handling policy and procedures.

TALENT PROFILE

  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary / Secondary School / "O" Level certificate
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Entry Level specialized in Hotel Management / Tourism Services or equivalent.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
