biofouling survey form here.

Dear
Boater
RSYC-TMSI
BIOFOULING PROJECT
The
Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RSYC) and Tropical Science Marine
Institute (TMSI) in NUS recently launched a joint research project
on biofouling in the RSYC marina with a presentation in the Nautica
Room. The presentation introduced the purpose (to investigate
how biofouling is affected by surface type, cleaning schedules,
paint types, water quality, etc.) and also the roles that RSYC
members and boaters can play in gathering the data.
A
key aspect of this project is to have RSYC boat owners give feedback
on the type of boat they have, the antifouling treatment they
use, how often and how their boat is cleaned, used, etc. If you
keep your boat in the water, we want to hear from you! The more
boat owners we hear from, the better the picture will emerge about
which paints and treatments are most effective and how to best
protect our boats from biofouling.
As
such, it would be of great help if you could fill in the survey
form and return it to the Club via fax, mail or drop it at
the front desk or Marina office. If you need extra survey forms
for a friend, kindly contact Shu Fen at 6768 9333 or email mesc@rsyc.org.sg,
alternatively you can download a copy from www.rsyc.org.sg/mesc
Yours sincerely
