We want you to enjoy your time at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club with fellow Members of similar status and interest. With this in mind, we would like to encourage you to nominate your friends, colleagues, and families to become Members of RSYC.

Write to the Club with full contact details of your nominee(s) and they will receive a formal letter of invitation from the Club to join RSYC.

As a gesture of appreciation, the Club would like to reward you with:

$250 in F&B vouchers for every successful Term Member nominated by you.
(Term Membership (3) Years. Joining Fee : $ 4,500)

$400 in F&B vouchers for every successful Ordinary Member (Transfer) nominated by you.

$400 in F&B vouchers for every successful Social Member nominated by you.
(Social Membership (Non-Transferable). Joining Fee $ 6,888)

$600 in F&B vouchers for every successful new Ordinary Member nominated by you.
(Ordinary Membership (Transferable). Joining Fee $ 15,000)

We would like to request that the Membership nominations be made in writing or by email to the membership office at RSYC prior to the application of membership by the nominee.

The F&B vouchers will be issued to you once the RSYC Committee has approved the Membership application of the nominee. This offer is valid until 31 December 2009 .

MAHJONG / CARD ROOM

Dear Members,

Effective Wednesday, 6th August 2008, the Mahjong / Card Room will be relocated to the 2nd floor to the area once occupied by the Club’s Spa. The room is located just outside the elevator landing on the 2nd floor.

RSYC NEW ELECTRONIC PARKING SYSTEM

Dear Members,

We are please to inform you that the Club will be upgrading our parking system to a Semi-EPS (Electronic Parking System) by 1 st of May 2008. In the past, members either need to display their car disc transponders on their windscreens or present their membership cards to the Security Personnel in order to gain access to the Club's parking facility. However, with the implementation of the EPS, access will be made easier.

The Semi-EPS is a cashless parking system and works in two ways:

i. In-Vehicle Unit (IU)

ii. Cashcard

For entry, the driver simply has to insert his Cashcard in the IU reader, where the entry information will be captured. At the point of exit, the Cashcard must be inserted at the exit station and parking fee will be deducted accordingly.

Important Note:
With the introduction of the EPS, members are required to provide the Club with the application form together with their Vehicle Registration Card for the parking privileges.

Each membership is allowed to register two vehicles for their parking privileges (Free Parking). As such, only the two registered vehicles are allowed free parking in the Club's compound. Upon each entry, the information (IU No*.) will be captured and compared against the Club's Parking System and only IU Nos. registered with the Club will be recognised. Therefore, if the information captured does not tally with the EPS System, the driver of the car would have to insert his Cashcard for payment - please refer to item ii.

To avoid any inconvenience and to ensure that the membership information is up to-date, members are advised to inform the Club and register their IU No. each time there is a change in their vehicle number.

Members may submit the registration by faxing their Vehicle Log Cards together with the application form to the Membership Department at 67689380, or email it to member@rsyc.org.sg.

Parking fees will apply to Expired / Suspended / Terminated / Cancelled Memberships.
