Keelboat Sailing Courses 2008
Learn how to sail on a keelboat. As part of our efforts to promote sailing, we are offering sailing courses for both adults and children. Courses suitable for adults include: Competent Crew Course(Beginners), Day Skipper Course to become a Keelboat skipper.

Competent Crew Course
Requirements: 16 years and above. Able to swim 50 meters.
Duration: 1 Saturday and 2 Sundays (21 hours)

Day Skipper Course
Requirements: 17 years and above, Competent crew course or equivalent and PPCDL.
Duration: 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays (26 hours)

• Fees: Competent Crew: $300 Member $550 Guest
           Day Skipper: $350 Member $650 Guest. Possession of PPCDL is required.

Dinghy Sailing Course 2008

Topper Sailing Course
Learn how to sail Topper in two days. Basic sailing techniques, boat handling, rope work and sailing theory are some topics covered. Course fee includes first month Saturdays training sessions. (15 yrs old and above)

Optimist Sailing for Children (Beginner's Course)
Learn how to sail the Optimist in two days. Basic sailing techniques, boat handling, rope work and sailing theory are some topics covered. Lunch is included. Course fee includes first month Saturdays training sessions. (8 - 14 yrs old)

Sailing Practices
After completing the basic course, sailors are encouraged to continue sailing with the weekly Saturday training sessions.
